Yuto Horigome is a world-champion Japanese skateboarder. Seiko 5 Sports made this piece in his honour, but instead of a “skate watch” it follows the early pilot-watch style Horigome likes. The result is a watch for every day, not just for the display case.

Details to look for

• A gradient dial from black to brown, with day-date
• Retro beige LumiBrite hands and markers, and an orange-tipped seconds hand
• Horigome’s feather logo at 6 o’clock and on the brown-tinted display case back
• An individual serial number on the case back
