What GMT means, and why this one

A GMT hand is a fourth hand that turns once every 24 hours, showing a second time zone alongside local time — useful for travellers and anyone working across borders. Seiko has put it into the SKX-style 5 Sports and keeps releasing special colours. SSK046 is the 2025 limited edition sold only in the Asia-Pacific region, 5,500 pieces.

Colours the series never had

• A light champagne dial inspired by the light of sunrise.
• Rose gold on the side of the bezel, the crown and the GMT hand — a first for the SKX GMT series.
• A five-row bracelet with a polished centre row against brushed outer links.

Price and where to buy

The Thai list price is ฿20,000; Thai dealers sold it new at around ฿17,000. Because it was sold only in Asia-Pacific, collectors elsewhere can only find it pre-owned.
