G-SHOCK × NASA DW-5600NASA21 — 40 years since the first Space Shuttle flight, on the square G-SHOCK

12 April — the same day, 40 years apart

On 12 April 1981 Space Shuttle Columbia (OV-102) lifted off on STS-1, the first flight of the Space Shuttle programme. Forty years later to the day, G-SHOCK released the DW-5600NASA21, its second collaboration with NASA after the DW-5600NASA20 the year before.

It uses the square DW-5600, the direct descendant of the very first G-SHOCK.
